One of our students' favourite activites -besides our excellent language classes!- are our cooking workshops.
When we designed our new installations we knew, from the beginning, we wanted to have a large kitchen to teach our students the secrets of local Spanish cuisine.
Therefore, in our cooking workshops, our students learn from a professional teacher how to make, in a practical way, a whole series of traditional dishes: Spanish omelette, 'huevos rotos', scrambled eggs, 'sopa castellana' in winter, 'gazpacho' in Summer, paella, Valladolid's famous 'tapas', etc.
Our cooking workshops, organized under demand, range a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 8 students.
So, when they finish their course in La Casa del Español, our students take with them a better command of the Spanish language and better cooking skills… both very useful in life!
